Documenting Our Legacy

Hello parents,

This letter comes to commemorate as well as celebrate the years we once had together in laying the foundation for your child(ren)’s future. As a proud parent, you were there with us during the years of laboring and we would like to continue this legacy of blessing many more children. Down through the years we got many letters, phone calls, face to face

conversations about some of the progress and adventures that your child(ren) experienced. Again, or even now we would like to hear from you whether there be any testimonials, proud moments or life experiences that your child has encountered in their lifetime.

We’re building a wall for those moments that would reflect your child(ren)’s accomplishments to lay a foundation for other kids. That wall is a reflection of black history it will entail your child(ren)’s name, proud moments, and/or achievements. In order to do this and continue the legacy we’re asking you to send $1 for each year of your child’s(ren) age. If your child has become an adult, could you please forward this and ask them to do likewise.

For this celebration, we will be forming a committee. If you would like to participate we would be honored to have you. We are also in the works of creating a documentary that will highlight the legacy of NECFC. There will be future announcements about this film, so We have been in business since 1986 and the legacy must continue. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation.
